2022.01.25 11:36 LegitlyBrando Which account to play?
So I have some accounts which I used to play from time to time. Don't know which one to play anymore. I've had my oldest account from July 2016 lvl 30. Got 6 legacies from July 2016. Some from august +. Got a MewTwo from the first time it was released. 100% IV Zapdos and a legit unown I've catched in the wild which I was the only one in my area which got one but got hacked around 2017. Was just able to recover it in 2021. My second one is LvL 37. Bunch of legendaries, etc. Also, I do not think people would like to trade em' to make an auto lucky pokemon since they're kinda useless. Are some people interested in em' curious too. What are you guys thinking?

2022.01.25 11:36 seafoodboiler I just downloaded TaleSpire on steam (modular DnD map builder), and it's running ridiculously slow - 2-3 fps. My build is definitely old, but is still able to run Cities: Skylines, Subnautica, Fallout 4 with decent fidelity at a reasonable FPS. So why is this game performing so poorly for me?
I'm not super knowledgeable on PC hardware, but I feel like what I have shouldn't be performing this poorly, given that some people run this on laptops.
For those unfamiliar with the game: it uses a simple grid system that lets you place common modular assets to build a map (think minecraft but entirely user-generated and with more flexibility). This allows you to copy other user's creations by literally copying a string of text and pasting it into the game. Really neat, and I *think* it probably makes it less resource-intensive than similar level-editing games. Using its 'build' mode on a blank board works just fine, but if I try to add a user board, it moves insanely slow and borderline freezes.
For example, I tried to load this board: https://talestavern.com/slab/small-island-village-high-fidelity-40-hrs/
If my screen was occupied by just water, I got maybe 20-30 fps; if I moved the camera to look at the actual land and buildings it went to 2-3fps. This isn't normal, right? I switched to this game from tabletop simulator partly because of kinda similar issues - a blank slate in the game was fine but loading many assets totally screwed things up.
This is my first time posting here so please let me know if you need more information. I have my benchmark results below, as required. I saw that the rules require you to use a display driver uninstaller, but I'm not really sure why I'd need to do that prior to posting system specs?

2022.01.25 11:36 ginfrared What’s the point in selling on Etsy anymore?
I’m a small seller. It’s just me. I direct pretty much everybody to my shop to make purchases. I think maybe 1% of buyers have come from outside of me promoting my stuff on FB or Instagram. I’m absolutely disheartened with Etsy. Where can I go next? I don’t think it’s ok for Etsy to charge me for using their platform when they support drop shippers 🤷♀️

2022.01.25 11:36 reh_lit Moving festival dates / Samhain substitute?
Hello! Pithiness is not my strong side, so it's probably goind to be bloated like hell. I apologize for that.
I never really celebrated any of traditional ancient Greek festivals because to me it always felt a bit unnatural and artificial to try and start to celebrate things almost out of the blue while there are conventional holidays in my country we all loved since being children without delving into their context really, but for some reason I always had a specific affinity with winter. In particular, with transitions of autumn to winter and winter back to spring. In Kaliningrad (former Konigsberg) where I live, winters are not as snowy, magical and, simply put, beautiful as elsewhere due to its proximity to the Baltic sea. Maritime climate makes winters here really wet, downright dirty and gloomy — natives jokingly call this kind of weather "chthonic". As a child constantly living in his imagination, I always thought the earth goes into a coma or something, and it emotionally impacted me too. Months of desaturated sky above and liquid soil beneath literally drained me, I escaped into my mind like an animal going back to its den and lived there until the first green buds started to appear on the trees. Fast forward to these days, far from atheistic childhood, I started to view this "cththonic" season in a much better light, not as a few months of pure evil reigning on earth, but rather as a moment of deep contemplation and introspection. The land, almost devoid of life, is like starry sky in a darkest night. There is little light left, but that's why its slightest remains shine like a new Sun. You are like desert flower struggling to reach healing waters down below the dried soil and when you think about it, it's actually quite beautiful. Learning to find joy in the little things, to see life in a lifeless abyss...
When I thought of this yesterday, I realized I want to commemorate winter on a regular basis. To celebrate the beginning of this great reflection, the katabasis, the mourning of queenly Demetra, and the inevitable end of it, the victory of life, the anabasis, the reunification of Mother with Her Blessed Daughter. And as Dodekatheism (I personally like to call it like this more than Hellenism or Hellenic polytheism, it's just me) is such an integral part of my life now, I want it to be done accordingly, in manner of my religion, inspired by the ancient practices. That's where I ask for your help!
Part of feeling attempts to incorporate ancient festivities in my life are unnatural is this constant need to adapt Attic calendar to Gregorian. Furthermore, while winters here arguably being in November, it's not until the end of Februry that you truly feel nature starts to wake up. Winters here are literally meteorologically longer. So while there is Antestheria, the opening of wine, Greeks celebrated it way too early in contrast with when I personally would like to do it and because it is attached to their own lunar calendar, as I understand it, its dates in the Gregorian calendar are quite unstable. It just feels inherently strange to me (just me, not trying to discredit others' practice!). In Russia, we have Maslenitsa, a beautiful slavic pagan holiday being celebrated almost exactly when I feel the winter ends, and there's also Halloween (not as common here, but it seemingly gains popularity with every coming year). Many Wiccans and those confessing Gaelic neopaganism celebrate lovely Samhain, but their Imbolc, the coming of spring, just doesn't suit me, and I know I could call my beginning and end of the winter however I like, but deep inside me there's this desire of authenticity and, I admit, of labelling to a certain degree. I'm profane in Ancient Greek to create my own name for the dates I like to celebrate and cannot find exactly what I need among the traditional Greek celebrations, but EVEN if I tried to, for instance, celebrate the three days of Anthesteria on the last day of February and on the first two days of March according to Gregorian division between winter and spring, there's still the issue of converting Halloween/Samhain into something, well, Hellenic. Could you please help me with solving this all? :)
As I said, bloating subjects is a bad traid of mine. For this reason...
TL;DR: Can I celebrate Anthestheria in March? And how can I mark the beginning of November (just like when Halloween and Samhain are celebrated) so that it could title-wise resemble Hellenic festivity?
